Samuel M. Hoff started the Patti Engineering from his home in June 1991. Patti Engineering has engineering offices in Auburn Hills, MI, Austin, TX, and Indianapolis, IN. The Company is named after Patti Hoff, CFO, who married Sam in the same month the company started. Patti Engineering has developed and implemented several cutting edge technologies that have been used for distribution, robotic painting, powertrain assembly, Oil and Gas, and Energy Management. Sam earned a BSEE at General Motors Institute (now Kettering University) in Flint, Michigan. Originally from Maryland, Sam resides in Clarkston, Michigan with his wife Patti. Sam has a daughter Payton who is launching her career in engineering and a son Sammy who is in high school. The Hoff family enjoys spending time together in the Michigan outdoors and downtown Detroit. Sam has a passion for golf and is an avid baseball fan.
