Vice President, Supply Chain Engineering | Target

Kevin Vliet is Vice-President of Supply Chain Engineering at the Target Corporation. He is responsible for the design and automation of Target’s internal logistics systems supporting Target’s overall supply chain transformation. Kevin began his career in 1993 at Ford Motor Company as an industrial engineer within the Automotive Components Division and later became Technical Fellow of Operations Engineering at Visteon, the parts manufacturing company spun off from Ford in 2000. In 2005, Kevin joined Amazon.com where he led the design of all Amazon fulfillment centers and began the design integration of the Kiva robotic system acquired by Amazon in 2012. From 2013-2016 Kevin was Director of Material Flow Engineering at Tesla Motors where he pioneered material flow technologies at Tesla’s cutting-edge manufacturing and assembly plants. Kevin has BS/MS degrees in industrial engineering from the University of Michigan and is a Fellow of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers.
