VP of Engineering | Celltrio, Inc.

Jeff Baird is the Vice President of Engineering for Celltrio, Inc., a life sciences automation company providing ready-to-ship solutions for biobanking and cell culture automation. Jeff has enjoyed over 26 years as a leader in the robotics, factory automation and manufacturing industries. He started his career at GE Aviation as a software and controls engineer where he also received training in manufacturing management. His love of combining software with mechanical solutions inspired him to join Adept Technology where he worked his way up from an Applications Engineer to the role of VP of Engineering and Operations. After helping Adept successfully navigate its acquisition by a private equity firm, he became the VP of Worldwide Automation for Flextronics, Inc. where he introduced automation across 130 factories in over 30 countries. He was also the technical liaison in evaluating investments for VC groups and corporate acquisitions. Prior to joining Celltrio, Jeff served as the Chief Technology Officer for FP International. His leadership helped introduce new innovative products leading to the successful sale of FP at 13x EBITDA. Jeff holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky where he currently serves on the Mechanical Engineering External Advisory Board.
