CEO & Founder | Southie Autonomy

Dr. Rahul Chipalkatty is the CEO of Southie Autonomy, which is sells a No-Code software platform for robot arms. H has spent the past 15 years studying how humans and robots can work together. His robotics expertise includes technical leadership, business development, and managing engineering teams to deliver on complex robotic systems spanning R&D as well as automation. Prior to leading the Southie Autonomy team, he worked in autonomy and robotics for Department of Defense (DoD) applications at Draper Lab in Cambridge, MA. Rahul believes that the value-proposition of using autonomy in robotics is to empower the people that use robots, not replace them. Dr. Chipalkatty has a Ph.D. in Robotics from Georgia Tech, an M.S in M.E. from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, and a B.S in M.E. from Carnegie Mellon.
